Every job performed by Dixie receives the benefit of careful review not only by our Pre-construction team, but also by the on-site Project Manager and Superintendent team. This on-going review and assessment allows detailed insight into the prosecution of the work and how costs may be reduced with no sacrifice in quality of the finished product. Even during the installation, suggestions are made and incorporated into the Project, with approval of appropriate Team members. This approach allows the Owner, A/E team and the General Contractor the benefit of exceptional electrical value.
Dixie is a Union Electrical Contractor, an active member of the Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association (Atlanta Chapter -- National Electrical Contractors Association) in excess of seventy years, and is signatory with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.).
With our current field make-up and our strategic partnerships (with local Atlanta Contractors AND Contractors across the nation), we are able to have flexibility in our crew make-up for specific projects, as required. It is the intent of Dixie Electric Company to man all projects primarily with our
core
electricians, from all classifications, who have been employed by Dixie Electric Company for a number of years (many of whom have over thirty years with Dixie and several multi-generational employees). To supplement our
core
electricians, Dixie will staff your project with additional workmen, as required by schedule and project. By utilizing our
core
electricians, you are assured the project is staffed with the highest quality craftsmen available.
